In about a month we will celebrate Frazetta's birthday. He was gifted with swift brush handling of ink and paint. Frank and his wife, Ellie, were dear friends of Dr. Soltero.
The Ringo painting caught the attention of Hollywood movie studios, and the image below was used as reference for a panel of Frank's only complete and published interior for EC comics.
