The Great Artist Richard Corben has died

 1940 to 2020.

Corben was a unique artist, working in black and white and color; working in underground and mainstream books. He was a pioneer in modern sci-fi film. His powerful figures, three dimensional figures, and colorful work, was and is unique.

His work could showcase violence and tenderness within the same story.

Richard drew the TMNT, Conan, Batman, Den, Luke Cage, and many others.

Kudos to his wife who promoted his work, and is an artist herself.

Corben’s death is ten years after another great artist—Frank Frazetta.
