Frank Bolle, a prolific artist has passed away, on May 12th, 2020.
He worked for many companies and series, including Doctor Solar.
"I was scheduled to interview him around 10 years ago but life issues got in the way, " Soltero.
He was very professional. For a short time he worked in the same "bullpen" that John Buscema worked in. He first drew the Black Phantom, and later drew memorable issues of Doctor Solar.
He also drew The Twilight Zone and Grimm's Ghost Stories.
He had a clean line, like other artists who worked on Boy's Life, such as a young Neal Adams.
Mr. Bolle was 95 years old.
