Director, Nicoles Roeg, of Walkabout fame has died at 90.
He assisted on Fahrenheit 451, and Lawrence of Arabia. Then he went on to direct the classic Walkabout. A movie about a young aborigine and two young white Australian children. It is a masterpiece.
He also went on to direct Mick Jagger and David Bowie. Jennifer Guthrie who got her break in Walkabout now stars in Call the Midwife, a critical success, and one of the best shows ever.
