Marlon Brando showed his real interest in humanitarian issues while promoting the Morituri movie in 1965. While speaking to French reporters he pointed out an African American woman and asked her about the challenges of African Americans. While being interviewed by several reporters he would often seque onto more interesting issues, away from the movie.
