The co-creator of Wolverine & Swamp Thing, Len Wein has died.

Len Wein, the co-creator of Wolverine and Swamp Thing has died at the age of 69.
He was an influential writer of comics even giving his blessing for Alan Moore to take over Swamp Thing long ago, paving the way for Alan Moore in America.



He was also an editor on the Watchmen, the classic work of Alan Moore and Dave Gibbons.



Len had some tough calls in life but always made it through. He appeared weaken in the last few years and was last seen by many at Comic-Con International this last summer.

Hugh Jackman had some wonderful things to say about him.


"He co-created, along with Dave Cockrum, one of my favorite characters, Storm from the X-Men," Soltero said.






His collaborator on Swamp-Thing, Berni Wrightson, preceded him nearly five months ago.
