Captain Underpants: The First Epic Movie, is OK for young children to watch. There are plenty of sophomoric jokes, and other jokes kids would like.
The setting at school is exaggerated but seems to make sense at the same time.
There are no strong graphic or violent scenes. Sometimes abrupt changes in music, sound, or images can affect children but this one does not seem to have that.
If you are a parent or guardian check it out for yourself--the movie does has crass jokes about flatulence and other related matters---but what do you expect from a movie titled Captain Underpants.
