The movie has great locales, especially the opening in Cuba. It was nice hearing a little Spanish--they gave props to Havana as a destination.
Scott Eastwood looks just like a young version of his father. They even cut his hair in the same way that Clint had his hair on his first major tv show, Rawhide. If you look carefully at one of the backgrounds--it reads East Gate---perhaps a tip of the hat to the Eastwood name.

Too bad Tony Ja was not showcased appropriately in the 7th installment (the previous movie)---with not much screen time and mostly in the shadows. He would have been great in this movie. Tony Ja is known for his Om Bak movies.
