One of the most dynamic bands has lost its leader. Earth, Wind, and Fire, gave us many classics led by Maurice White who died in his sleep. In my opinion, they topped the Beatles with their classic, Got to Get You Into My Life. The brass in the song was apparently a tip of the hat to Motown as first played by the Beatles and later covered by Earth, Wind, and Fire.
