Edgar Dean Mitchell, one of my two favorite astronauts has passed. He, like Gordon Cooper, believed that our government was not forthcoming with UFO, and derivative, technology.
Edgar Dean Mitchell was born September 17, 1930, in Hereford, Texas. He joined the Navy and got a doctorate from MIT before joining NASA.
