He was aged 94, the first African American to win an Oscar, also starred in Guess Who's coming to Dinner, To Sir with Love, and many other movies.

He was an excellent actor.

Biden, US, vetoed a humanitarian cease-fire

A UN resolution for an immediate humanitarian cease-fire in Gaza was shot down by the US. The 15 member Security Council vote results: 13 for the cease fire, US veto--nay, and the UK abstained, 13-1 final vote. "Attacks from air, land, and sea are intense and widespread," U.N. Secretary-General Guterres. He also stated, prior to the vote, that Gaza residents are being moved to ever-smaller slivers of the south, minus the basics for survival.
