Ellie Frazetta was a very important person for the art world, for Frank Frazetta, and for her family. She believed in Frank and did everything she could to promote his work, protect his art, and protect her family.

"I met Ellie when I mistakenly called the east coast as a 16 year old student. She scolded me for calling so late, and at the end of the phone call she asked me to call back the next week. She was a very good friend, confidante, and a religious woman," Soltero.

"Over the years we spoke about many things, including protecting his art work. She considered the museums the best protection for keeping the works together. She wanted all of the original artwork to stay within the family museum, and not to be sold, especially the key paintings, including the Conan works. She was adamant about this."
