The Temptations singer dies at 74

Dennis Edwards, from the Temptations, has passed away at 74.



Edwards was famous for Papa Was a Rollin' Stone and Cloud Nine, among other hits.
He would have turned 75 on Saturday.

In 1968 he replaced David Ruffin as the lead singer of the group.

He was a member of the Contours prior to joining the Temptations.
