Richard Anderson, of the Bionic Man & Bionic Woman, has died at age 91


Richard Anderson, of the Bionic Man & Bionic Woman, has died at age 91 (some sites report 89). He was born in 1926.
He played the supervisor of the Bionic Man & Woman.



He brought his particular pacing to the shows. He played the character Oscar Goldman.



He died of natural causes. His career lasted approximately 50 years.

He had guest appearance on Dynasty and the Big Valley, and the critically acclaimed the Fugitive.

With the Bionic Man, Andersen's voice could very every week during the introduction, “Gentlemen, we can rebuild him,” he begins. “We have the technology. We have the capability to make the world’s first bionic man. Steve Austin will be that man, better than he was before. Better. Stronger. Faster.”

He was sci-fi standard, starring in the precursor to Star Wars, Forbidden Planet, in the late 50s. He also acted in a Stanley Kubrick movie as well.
