Joan Lee has died at age 95.

She was a former model. Stan was suppose to date her roommate but ended up going out with her. Joan was married at the time but unhappy.
They wed in 1947.
They had two kids and one died three days after birth. She was devastated about her lost child, Jan. They were married for 69 years.
In the early 60s she encouraged him to write a comic the way he would like, and he went on to create the Fantastic Four.
