It was not uncommon to hear June's voice over the PA system at the early San Diego cons. She could be heard announcing a Jack Kirby panel, for example, with her trademark voice. She was 99 when she died on July 26, 2017.
She was world famous for the voice of Natasha and Rocky from the Bullwinkle show. She also played Witch Hazel for the Looney Tunes cartoons.
