If you have not read it and you want to read something exceptional then read the Tale of One Bad Rat. It is a classic, in my opinion, it is inspired and related to Beatrix Potter but has very different content--abuse--and other issues. It has mature matter, it is recommended for teenagers and older readers. It is very well done with its editing, art, color, story, and impact.
The art by itself is worth the cover price. The author, Talbot, is a very thoughtful and skilled artist.
