Anne with an "E"

Anne with an "e" is deftly put together. It is very solid and presented with a strong purpose. In this series one views a realistic past where Anne is abused and mistreated prior to her life at Green Gables.
She also looks malnourished as one would be in a neglected situation, prior to her time at Green Gables.

There are many other subsets as well, including the suffragettes, farm life, coming of age issues, women's education, and women's role in society.

It is worth watching.
