Two iconic artists have passed, Herb Trimpe & Percy Sledge. One was
the first to draw Wolverine and the other sang one of the most romantic
songs ever written and sung. Herb passed late Monday and was scheduled
to attend BIG WoW this coming weekend. Percy was still recording as of
the last few years and died at age 73.
Mr. Trimpe had attended Big Wow for several years, much to the delight of his fans. His wife, is also an artist of jewelry design. I bought work from the two of them. She also helped Herb with his art endeavors.
